Though I have no idea if my boys will have a chance to play professionally right out of high school, if they can I will encourage it. Why not give it a shot? If you have the skills to play professional baseball you are a good enough athlete to get a football scholarship somewhere if baseball does not pan out.
I made the mistake of trying to rush through college to get to “real life”. Play while you can boys, play while you can.
